As soon as you know the date of your event, it is highly recommended to book your hair services with us. As we are in high demand, and are already booking into the 2024 and 2025 wedding seasons, we cannot guarantee that a date will remain available for very long. If your wedding date falls on a Saturday from May to September, it is crucial that you book your date at least a year in advance if possible. 

Yes, we require you to sign a contract to finalize the booking of your date. This is to ensure that ALL parties involved are respected, treated fairly, and held accountable to what has been agreed upon. It is strongly recommended that you thoroughly read through your contract before signing, and email Sindy at notesandknotss@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns regarding its content. 

A bridal trial is highly recommended, but not required. A trial is simply meant to provide you with assurance in our ability to meet your hair goals, and help you feel confident in the style choice for your completed wedding day look. If you feel like you don't need one, you are already certain in our skillset, or are trying to save a few dollars (we know weddings are $$$), then simply just let us know you would like to move forward without one. We will create your wedding day itinerary with a little extra time to make any and all changes to your hairstyle to ensure you look your absolute best!

Ultimately, when you book your trial is completely up to you. Some brides love to use their trial hair for special events, such as: their bridal shower, engagement shoot, baby shower, bachelorette party, etc. I recommend this idea as a way to save you some money while also trying out the style of your choice. As a rule, I would say to book your trial after you have ordered your dress and no later than 2 months before. Once you've settled on a neckline, it's a lot easier to choose a hairstyle. But please don't wait until right before your wedding to do your trial, if at all possible. In my professional experience, I find that the last couple months can be a very busy time for a couple. So, booking before the frenzy hits is advisable. 

We do ask that during peak season (May to October) there is a minimum of 4 services per contract, but depending on the time of year, the day of the week for the booking, and the current availability in the schedule, we will make exceptions. Payments for: 

- Trials: due upon completion of the style

- Wedding/Special Event Services: due no later than 7 days prior to the wedding date

- Extension Hair: due upon ordering your custom colour and type of weft. Consultation required

- Extension Install/Lift: due upon completion of service

Tips and gratuities are not built into our prices and are certainly not required. The offer of such is completely on the mercy of the client and we are incredibly grateful when we do receive them. 

We use high-quality, human hair wefts from a reputable Canadian brand. There are over 30 colours to choose from and 4 different methods we offer. So, to provide you with a custom-tailored look that will fulfill your hair goals of length, fullness and texture, it is necessary to colour match in person, and discuss budget and at-home care. 

The deposit to book a wedding with us is $80.00. 

On average, a full hair service can range between 45-60 minutes depending on the chosen style, hair type and length. Obviously, some styles will be a little quicker and some will take longer, especially if the guest has an intense amount of hair. If you or your guest is incredibly blessed with luscious, long locks, please inform us ahead of time and we can add a few extra minutes to that time slot in the itinerary! 

We offer a complimentary service of creating your hair and makeup itinerary for you and your guests. We work alongside your makeup artist to customize a schedule that works for all guests and all artists involved to help create a smooth and easy wedding day. By crafting this schedule just for you, we will be able to ensure that you and your guests are ready on time, that everyone knows what time and where they are needed for each service, and there are no empty chairs

Yes, we do! For wedding parties over 6 guests, our lead artist will bring her assistant along to accommodate larger wedding parties. If you are a smaller party and you require a shorter getting-ready schedule, an assistant can be brought in as well. Just let us know what you need and we will be happy to help. 

We use high-quality, low VOC hair products from reputable brands such as Joico, Redken, and Sexy Hair. If allergies or sensitivities are known, please let us know ASAP.
